Dung Beetles:
Offerings on the Shrine of Lostness
In October 2022 a contingent of ten Dung Beetles decided to try something a bit out there with the severely outdated website. They whipped up a temporary landing page with the following trickster invitation/provocation:
“You’re lost! Us too. We’d love to hear from you. Musings, poetry, stories, bird sounds, weird ants, clouds that look like trees that bend to offer fruit and other such normal anomalies – it’s all welcome.”
The ten Dung Beetles received over 30 exquisite offerings on the shrine of lostness. Here’s a small sample of the pieces that were sent in over five months:
